In 1994 twin brothers Rainer and Harald Opolka founded LED LENSER in their garage in Germany with 1,000 DM start-up capital, a sketch book, toolbox and an old Atari computer. They were obsessed with light and lamps, often working far into the night. Fast forward 17 years, hundreds of patents and design awards later, and we are now a company of more than 1000 employees, three manufacturing bases and a range of some of the world’s highest-quality LED flashlights.
